Day Eleven

PSYCH! That wasn't my last post after all! But seriously, though. The beetle things are organizing. A plot is afoot. Also, writing these the day after has really confused me? And maybe also so has working a double shift? So let's settle it at, I haven't written anything but I'm getting ready for 3-day and am suddenly addicted to kdrama.

Day Ten

Urgh, I think I'm dying. This stupid little voice in my head keeps being all, I'm ninety percent sure you've just got a cold. But I'm all SHUT UP VOICE I'M DYING OVER HERE. I've tried massive amounts of allergy medicine and tequila, but neither seems to have helped beyond letting me pass out on the couch for a little while.

Also, there are FIVE beetle-y things gathered in my room and I fear they have sensed my weakness and are planning an attack. This may be my last post. Go in peace, gentle reader. Go in peace.

Day Nine

Another late shift at work. Spent the time before it helping Mom get ready for the puppy and going through house paperwork. Just one more thing to do before we make an offer on this house. And I thought I couldn't get any more stressed out.

Still not getting any writing done, but I'm putting together my 3-day novel in my head. It'll be nice to have some writing devoted time this weekend after all this chaos. I'll try to get the apartment cleaned up in the next couple of days so that's not distracting me, either.

Day Eight

Realized there's no way I'm getting this book done before the end of the month. Sad, but it's okay. I've got 3-day novel contest this weekend, then I'll decide where to go from there. Start the count over maybe? Count nonconsecutive days? I'll see.

Tried to remember what I even did yesterday, but it's kind of just an exhausted blank. I worked a late shift and then... read? Maybe? And read beforehand? Dunno. Guess that's the flaw in writing these the day after. :)

Day Seven

Went to an art fair, but was too broke to buy anything. Then went with my sister to pick out her new puppy. He's an adorable little yorkie. He'll only grow up to be five pounds. Got home late, caught up on emails and laundry, then dragged myself to my office corner to write. Got a little bit done before I gave in and went to sleep.

Day Six

Spent the day house hunting, and the night having crazed nightmares about house hunting. Think we've finally found the house we're going to buy. Time to do the paperwork.

Day Three

Progress at last! Had a late shift at work, so spent the morning writing. Finished edits and got them sent off to the editor (finally!) and started Bad Graces. This book is a lot of fun. Can't tell you how excited I am about it. Oh, and I'm writing it as a book in ten days, with the ten days starting today. :) I'll see how it goes.
